The Hornton Classic 6 is CRJ’s very own race held annually at Hornton village, 6 miles north-west of Banbury.
The race was first held in 1994 with only 25 starters. It is now part of the Oxon Road Race Grand Prix series of races and 150 or more turn up to run this scenic and undulating course through the picturesque villages of Hornton and Horley.
There are changing facilities, free car parking with drinks & refreshments available after the race. For the last few years there has also been free over-night camping where everyone is welcome to stay, but please bear in mind that there are limited facilities. We also hold a ‘Bring your own Burger’
Online entries have now closed, however you will be able to enter on the night.

As in previous races, Barry Cornelius plans to take photographs of this race for publication on his website www.oxonraces.com and for possible use by the press. You will be able to download his photos free of charge. If you do not wish your image to appear as a significant part of any photograph that he publishes on the web or provides to the press, you should put a large thick red cross across your race number. If you are under 18, please ensure that your parent/carer is happy for photos of you taken at the race to be published on the web. If you or your parent/carer do not wish photos of you to be published on the web, please add a large thick red cross to your race number.
Red markers will provided at the Race HQ for this purpose.
Last year’s race was a great success once again.
